DCN maintains an national voluntary roster of members by which individuals in DCN can correspond with each other. This roster is essentially a personal ad describing the person's interests, identifiers, affiliations, relevant (and irrelevant, if desired) projects, their regional DCN group, and contact method(s). All members are strongly encouraged to participate, and it is updated fairly frequently.

This roster is exclusively kept within the network's membership, and an appended document describes respectful and legal contact protocols, as well as an explanation of the essentiality of security for this document. All members participating are encouraged to correspond via email or Post Office boxes for security, and pseudonyms are discouraged but allowed.

The central database of real names and membership data is kept under the highest security data encryption available, and this critical information is only shared between the members, their specific Regional Triumvirate, and the National Triumvirate. It is a responsibility of all triumvirs to keep all membership info under the highest security and confidentiality. Guidelines and rules will be made available to facilitate this.
